Biomedical imaging is the non-invasive tool to reveal internal structure of human body. Magnetic resonance Imaging (MRI)/Magnetic resonance spectroscopy (MRS) is based on the NMR phenomena of water molecular under strong magnetic field. It is one kind of biomedical imaging techniques. MRI can be used to investigate anatomy and various functions of human body. MRS can be used to quantify biochemical compounds (metabolites) in human body. MRS/MRS has wide range of applications in researches and medical diagnosis. Our lab focus on development of MRI/MRS techniques to achieve better quality, more information or fasten acquisition speed.
The research topics include resting state functional MRI (fMRI), diffusion MRI, brain connectivity, fast magnetic resonance spectroscopic imaging (MRSI) technique, MRS methods for neuronal transmitters. (中文)
